@5020Chris Sometimes we need two D9’s to break the bead on larger tires.

You could probably pay to have section repairs made, but I don’t know who would be willng to do so on a tire like that. That tire is junk, but a repair, if possible is a lot cheaper than a tire.

And finding some used tires, which are in relatively good shape, is a pain in the a**, i guess…

@DieselPowerTV Ya I figured it would be a few dollars for a new tire. Ive talked to a few guys about buying new tires for their mining haul truck fleets and the cost was astronomical!! Ridiculousyly expensive. Good thing the repair wasnt that bad though.

@Xx69roadrunnerxX A brand new tire of this size would be over $5,000. The plan is to patch the tire and the inner tube. The difficulty in changing this tire was moderate. Only 4 inside bolts and 2 outside bolts hold everything in place.

Great repair vid!! But man that looks like a pain in the ass to change a tire on that DW15. How much does one of those tires cost? Cool cat by the way! The furry one, haha.

I guess you should’ve sprayed PB Blaster on the tire and rim! lol
