  9. vintagemachines Says:

I have listed Ca DMV MTHM requirements in the video text. Building it yourself is my style:)

  10. englander1971 Says:

What MTHM requirements did you have to carry out? Excellent Bus plan on doing this myself, Used RV Prices are a total Joke akin to Daylight Roberry!

  11. vintagemachines Says:

$4000, my other video of this machine has the dealer info. Easy to drive if you are at ease with big vehicles.

  12. godzilla6222 Says:

me and my buds are thinking about doing this ourselves, how much did you pay for the bus itself?

  13. vintagemachines Says:

I spent about $1000 building the interior myself. Three hammocks, wood stove, and dark sun screen have been added since this video.

  14. thomasfreightliner Says:

How much did it cost to have all that done?

  15. vintagemachines Says:

Yes, the porta potty sits in the solar shower which is behind the green shower curtain near the middle of the driver’s side.

  16. blue2blueinthenight Says:

Hey cool interior.. does it have shower/toilet?

  17. vintagemachines Says:

Thanks, eveyone should incorporate a bit of the 60’s positive side in them, now matter when you’re born. I am now working on ramps for the back that stow underneath, first to transport motorcycles and snowmobiles inside and then any car when the triple back doors are done.

  18. myred02 Says:

Dude… that is a hippie’s dream ride! You did a very good job on it, too.

  19. vintagemachines Says:

Once I installed enough mthm requirements to qualify for a reclassified title, A regular car license is all that is needed in CA and most states.

  20. tpvalley Says:

    What DMV requirements?
did u have to remove a number of seats to legally drive it on car licence or do u have a bus licence?

  21. vintagemachines Says:

Tons of detailing work in and out, buffing, waxing, paint touchup, scrubbing and painting interior, mthm conversion work, mechanical repairs such as new cooling system, rear seals, and numerous minor repairs. I just now completed the installation of a stowable wood stove system that exits the smoke out of a middle window. A diesel heater is next.

  22. tpvalley Says:

What is meant by waxing on and off?
    What problems did u encounter?

  23. vintagemachines Says:

That is an awesome bus and a commendable application of a custom vintage machine. A little low on headroom for me though, must have been fun to build her and to drive:)
