No I have used both auto cad and solidworks. I though auto cad was better at first. But now I work with solidworks and fell in love with it. You can just make the parts more presice given the fact that it is dimension driven. It is great.

solidworks is a better program, trust me. i used autocad, autocad mechanical, solidworks and inventor

i usually used auto cad 2000 and 2006…..i havent tried solid works…..but i think autod cad much better..according to my boss..

I’ve learned both AutoCad and SolidWorks at school.
Both are pretty nice. Altough it is alot easier to draw 3D in SolidWorks. ‘Cause you can make diffrent pieces and puzzle them together with ease.
